PFTL is excited to launch Truss House™, an engineered building solution that integrates prefabricated truss technology into a fully designable house system. The Truss House™ portal frame is a repeatable element used to construct houses, replacing the traditional combination of floor + walls + roof truss.

The Future Way To Build

Truss House™ replaces the traditional floor-wall-roof assembly with a repeatable, pre-engineered truss component that forms the entire structure, issued with Pryda PS1 documentation.
This streamlined system enables faster builds, reduced site labour, and enhanced thermal performance ideal for detached homes, townhouses, and medium-density developments.
The system provides the flexibility of mono, or multi-pitch roof structures with flat or raked ceilings, as well as all traditional methods of fixing such as concrete pads, timber floor and screw piles.

Truss House™ has been developed to optimise structural efficiency, reduce on-site labour, and ensure consistency across all stages of construction.
In collaboration with Pryda, whose advanced software platforms have proven integral to the project, we have been able to achieve highly accurate detailing, precise load calculations, and seamless integration of engineered components. Pryda’s design tools provided the flexibility and technical depth needed to model complex layouts and ensure full compliance with New Zealand building standards. The result is a buildable, cost-effective,
and structurally robust system that pushes the boundaries of modern prefabricated construction.

Ideal for compact dwellings, the system can be easily adapted to various floor plans and roof designs, providing flexibility while maintaining strength and durability. With Truss House, small-scale homes like cabins or granny flats can be built more quickly, safely, and with a professional, finished appearance that maximizes both space and aesthetic appeal. Not to mention ease of transport and movement on sites with limited access.

Homes

The Truss House™ engineered truss system is perfectly suited for medium-sized homes and townhouses, combining strength, precision, and efficiency. The system is highly adaptable to a variety of roof styles and layouts, allowing designers and builders to create versatile, attractive homes while maintaining speed and safety during construction. With Truss House™, medium-sized residences can be delivered faster, with superior build quality and long-lasting performance.

Multi-Story

Applicable for multi-story and medium-density residential projects, offering a combination of precision, strength, and efficiency that scales with complexity. Its engineered components ensure consistent structural integrity across multiple levels, while simplifying installation and reducing on-site labor. Highly adaptable to a range of roof designs and floor plans, enabling architects and builders to optimize space, aesthetics, and safety. With Truss House, medium-density developments can be constructed faster, with reliable performance and a professional, high-quality finish that meets modern building standards.
